Join a growing firm as its Private Equity Executive Assistant in NYC, supporting four senior leaders across finance, investments, sales and portfolio analytics.   • This is a full-time, hybrid Executive Assistant role in New York, NY, in the office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
  • The Executive Assistant reports to the CFO of a New York private equity firm and supports four senior team members: the CFO, an investments Partner, the Head of Sales and the Head of Portfolio Analytics.
  • The Executive Assistant’s main focus is complex, high-volume calendar management across multiple time zones, along with travel, expense reporting and day-to-day administrative support.
  • Candidates need prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives, and the firm is open on years of experience.
  • No finance background is required, and a college degree is preferred but not essential.
  • The Executive Assistant is expected to start by December 1, 2026, and the hiring process ends with an onsite interview in New York.

Calendar and executive support

  • Own complex, high-volume calendar management for four senior team members across multiple time zones, the core of the role.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the executives and internal and external stakeholders, handling correspondence, emails and phone calls with professionalism.

Travel and expenses

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, working with the firm’s travel agent while owning all bookings, itineraries and changes.
  • Handle expense reporting and reimbursement for the executives supported.

Meetings, documents and projects

  • Organize and prepare for meetings, including updating materials, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Manage documents, presentations and reports, and maintain confidential files and records.
  • Assist with projects and initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.

Events and growth

  • Support the organization of executive offsites, firm events and conferences as needed.
  • Take on additional responsibilities over time as the role grows with the firm.
