We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant to support a Managing Director at a high-profile investment firm in Los Angeles. This role will give you the ability to work strategically in a fast-paced environment that encourages growth within the function and beyond.

  • Manage complex calendars by scheduling professional and personal meetings, proactively managing conflicts, and gate-keeping time for strategic work and breaks
  • Arrange domestic and international travel including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, conference registration, meeting & restaurant reservations, and building comprehensive itineraries
  • Assist in managing Partners’ email inboxes – including responding on behalf of Partners when appropriate – and tracking follow-ups and action items
  • Prepare expense reports and materials for meetings & speaking engagements
  • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, Partners’ VIP contacts, and their assistants
  • Collaborate with other Assistants and support other investment team members on ad hoc projects
  • Provide administrative backup as needed during vacations and other absences



  • At least 2 years of administrative assistant experience supporting C-level executives
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Technology savvy; experience with PC, Microsoft Office, and Outlook preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills and sound business judgment
  • Unwavering integrity with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Interest in finance and/or technology preferred
